News trends in problem solving
Extreme problems include some of the biggest problems that society faces. They exist in massively complex, volatile and hostile environments, can have millions of stakeholders, and tangle in the most extreme ways. Organisations facing extreme problems usually have loads of appropriate domain expertise. But still no solution exists.
Problem science is an emerging discipline in which the techniques of extreme problem solving are based and from which tentative solutions are being explored.
